My name is Petey Fabian and I am a Masters of Counseling student at the University of Kentucky working towards Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor at Affinity Counseling & Wellness, PLLC. I am under the supervision of Sierra Felix, LMHC. We offer individual, group, couples, and family counseling, and serve clients from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds. I have a special interest in working with adolescents, young adults, and couples. I believe that all good therapy is based on a genuine relationship between the client and counselor where clients feel seen, valued and heard. I am excited to join Affinity where I will do my practicum and internship as part of my degree. I plan to practice client or person-centered therapy and believe that the client is the primary voice in the room. My other approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that prioritizes empowering clients to shape their journey.
