Matt Hall

My name is Matt Hall and I am a Master’s student at Liberty University pursuing a Licensed Mental health Counseling degree.  I am serving my practicum & internship with Affinity Counseling & Wellness, PLLC and will be graduating in 2024.  Affinity offers individual, group, couples and family counseling, and we serve a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds.  While at Affinity, I will be under the supervision of Susannah Cecil, LCMHCS.  My special interests include integrating spiritual concerns into the therapeutic session.

I have a background in media and I understand the importance of telling a person’s story. As a counselor, it’s my desire to help individuals tell a new version of their story. I strive to help clients move through personal struggles by utilizing evidenced based therapeutic approaches. These approaches support learning new thought processes & behaviors and can help clients create a more
meaningful and joyful life.
